Beloved Interfaith Center member Scott McWhinney is a self-taught musician who has been playing guitar for over 20 years. He covers and writes folk songs, and also brings to the music a soul-infused sensibility with jazz stylings.

Scott is known to many Ann Arborites as a sound man extraordinaire at venues where live music is played, including the Michigan Theater and the Summer Festival's Top of the Park concerts. Now it's his turn in the spotlight! This is Scott's public debut concert as a headliner, featuring guest musicians on some songs.

Scott plans to record and release his first CD of music in 2009. Come enjoy Scott's heartfelt songwriting, talented playing, and dry sense of humor in this very special concert!
